Would it be possible to allow user's to edit posts, or will that cross the line of automated vs curated. I am thinking maybe user's will be able to tweak titles, add links etc..

I think he meant news posts :)

Anyway, moderators can change them, but giving that to everyone is a bad idea. Too much chance for abuse.

Maybe we can add a button to flag the release for name change.

I saw your comment on that release and have fixed the title. I agree with Naxian, that a flag for name change button along side the flag for spam might be a good idea.
