As the last donation we received was December 23rd, I'm now going to trial advertising on this site for 3 days - at the end of which I'll think on my next steps. You are more than welcome to use AdBlock to hide it, it's a fairly small 468x60 banner ad however.

If the site catches up and overtakes matrix in terms of features and accuracy of posts I won't have a problem paying a monthly fee and I am sure I am not alone.

I think matrix made a major mistake by not reaching out to users sooner for some kind of financial backing (even if the money was to be used to pay for lawyers and not for bandwidth).
